WELCOME TO THE STORM TALES
The home of all things
G.W. "Tabbi" Dorsey
Mrs. Tabbi Dorsey is an author that enjoys drawing readers into the lives and experiences of her characters. She believes that often times art imitates life and then on some rare occasions, life will imitate art. Mrs. Dorsey began writing as a teenager. Writing short stories and poems was the outlet for the creative spirit that kept her comfortably engrossed during the long hot Georgia summers.
As an adult and medical professional she began writing about issues that affected those around her, working with her and placed in her care. She is a southern girl who believes that books have a special place in our lives and that their content, characters and stories are meant to be a positive contribution to us and our world.
Tabbi is the happily married mother of four children, and two beautiful women that also call her mom. An amazing granddaughte and 4 amazing godchildren. She is grateful to her supportive husband and family, both natural and spiritual for the love, motivation and encouragement. She welcomes emails from her readers, although she often reminds us that she will not share spoilers.

My Reason:
G.W. "Tabbi" Dorsey's goal for writing The Storm Tales Trilogy
is to increase the awareness regarding the effects of domestic violence and the damage caused by this parasitic disease. These books were written to enlighten others to it's pervasive existence and prayerfully to encourage healing. But most importantly, hopefully prevent its continued destruction. Everyone, regardless of financial standing or socioeconomic status has been in some way affected by violence.
My Purpose :
To empower, to motivate and provoke a positive response to a
negative and traumatic experience. To invoke, encourage and mentor that damaged person to heal, blossom, and prosper.
My Mission:
To ensure that others know that your experiences do not define you, but contribute to the unique individual you inevitably become.
My Desired Effect:
To eradicate the acceptance of domestic violence and disavow the common belief that it is only the physical contact that hurts. To enlighten the general populace that one's actions and words are just as capable of inflicting pain and deep scars. To assist in the overall understanding of the lasting, often permanent effects of this parasitic disease because education and enlightenment is just as significant to healing as treating the physical wounds.
